What Causes Cleavage Wrinkles?

Cleavage wrinkles can impact any woman, no matter of age, breast size, or overall weight. Though many women may not think about their need to prevent cleavage wrinkles until it’s too late, we’ve developed a product that will help no matter how deep those creases are. If you’re unsure on how these wrinkles form in the first place, below are three common causes of cleavage wrinkles and creases.

1.       Side-Sleeping

Everyone sleeps differently, but sleeping on your side could be doing more harm than good when it comes to your cleavage. When you sleep on your side, gravity causes one breast to shift over the other, creating added folds and pressure onto the skin. As your skin becomes less elastic with age, these creases become permanent.

2.       Push-Up and Sports Bras

Cleavage wrinkles can also be caused by bras that push the breasts together for long periods of times. Push-up bras are intended to enhance the look of your cleavage but can cause wrinkles and lines to form due to the breasts being pushed together for hours at a time. Similarly, with sports bras, they hold the chest in place to make exercising more comfortable, but also tend to smush them together.

3.       Menopause

Menopause can bring about a variety of symptoms in women, one of which being the thinning of their skin. If a woman has yet to develop chest wrinkles and creases, they very well may during menopause. The lower estrogen levels in the body directly affect the skin’s elasticity, making a woman much more susceptible to creases and wrinkles, especially if they fit under the above causes as well.
